Last evening, while I was watching the evening news, they reported the tragic
news of the passing of Elizabeth Edwards. My condolences to all of her family.
But later I got to thinking about the similarities between her husband, John
Edwards and John Canfield:
1. Both men are named John
2. Both men are retired Congressmen
3. Both men are widowers
4. Both men represented North Carolina in Washington D.C.
5. Both men liked to squire the ladies around.
As Andy would say, "Curious, curious, curious".

office. If I ever become curious about my ancestors, I can look them up down
at the library. I do not need other people digging into my past.
