Thanks Ken,

I forgot about the line you crossed at the gas station that let the
attendants know a customer was out there and needed service. My boyhood gas
station ( Guy Smith Texaco back then), in Lynchburg, Ohio was the place to
be. I remember hanging out there with my Dad many times. Our home town (
pop. 1200), was very similar to Mayberry in many ways.

Where I live know, ( Huntley, Illinois), we have many barbers that take you
back to memories of Floyd Lawson. One even sells the rubber scalp massager
( with rubber bristles). Oberweis Dairy has been delivering Milk for a long
time ( in glass bottles).

You can find Mayberry still out there and relive some of the best parts of
growing up. Sometimes, it takes a little searching.

I always enjoy the posts here on the Board!

Best to all of you,

Al Cramton
Huntley, Illinois
