I shared a "Mayberry moment" yesterday with my daughter. We were on the highway in the left-turn lane waiting for the light to turn green. A sheriff's car was ahead of us. When the light changed, the sheriff's car did a U-turn to head back in the opposite direction. In my best Gomer voice (which isn't that great), I said, "Citizen's arrest! Citizen's arrest!"
My daughter said, "Well! How do you like that?" To which I replied, still with my Gomer voice, "Guess there's two sets of laws! One for the police and one for the ordinary citizen!"
