"Jessie, can you name all your kids?". Of course I can you durn fool, I named
them all shortly after they were born. Didn't your mama name you?

I am always amused by the newspaper headlines that say: "Police Name Suspect
In Robbery". I always think to myself "Didn't that old boy's mama and daddy
name him already?" "He is getting pretty old not to have a name". That is
probably why it took the police so long to find him, the man has no name.

I think what you meant to say was "Jessie, are you able to list the names of
your children?"

Orville Hendricks - The Butter and Egg Man. Pretty easy for me to list the
names of my chldren. Evan. See that was easy.

There was Jessie Copeland who lived with her husband and 18 children in a
huge old house on the other side of the tracks. She was large and not very
clean and whenever we would meet her on the street we would call out to her,
"Jessie, can you name all your kids?" and with a laugh she would begin to name
them oldest to the youngest without one bit of hesitation.
