We have some uninvited guests living in our house. Our retired pastor and his wife were here for dessert last night when all of a sudden the pastor said, "A chipmunk just ran down the hallway." Since then there have been two sightings. We have been hearing some scratching noises above our suspended ceiling in the family room lately. I checked today and discovered a nest in the ceiling. Now I know how Ernest T feels when he talked about not being so bad living with the chipmunks. I think we have Alvin, Simon, and Theodore living with us. Now I know how to raise baby birds, thanks to Barney and Opie, but not sure about baby chipmunks. I purchased a live trap and we have that set. So hopefully we will be able to trap the family and release them out in the wild. I wish I would have kept up my subscription to the Learn a Month Magazine. There may have been something in there about chipmunks.
By the way. I also used to date a gal named High Octane Ethyl. But I broke up with her because she had a lot of gas.
