Ken, I always remembered the gun over the hutch because my grandfather also 
kept a pistol over my grandmother's hutch.  I never knew it until I was about 
14 and he was teaching me about firearms.  Once he taught me how to safely use 
them he told me about the one over the hutch in case of an emergency.  All of 
the other guns were locked up.  Luckily, we never had to get the gun down.  Of 
course, we never entertained any TV repairmen either.  In those days those guys 
could be a dangerous.
