There's an episode where Briscoe tells Charlene how lucky she is to have Dud
Wash.He tells
Charlene how lucky she is to have a house with a dirt floor and a husband who
hardly ever
hits her.The latter part of his statement has always perplexed me..."a husband
who hardly
ever hits you".Somehow, this just doesn't sound like it should have been written
into the
script...just doesn't sound Mayberryesque..Anyone else have a thought or
opinion on this?

Gomer and Goober are on opposite sides of Meyer's Lake fishing.Goober yells out
to
Gomer "how do I get to the other side"?Gomer replies "you ARE on the other
side".
