I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Michael J. Pollard, Cousin Virgil from TAGS, at a celebrity auction show outside Chicago on Saturday. I also met with his talent representative. Both jumped at the possibility of coming to Mayberry Days. It would be neat for Cousin Virgil to come in contact with the set of jail keys he polished down that are part of Emmett Forrest's exhibit at the Andy Griffith Museum. I plan on putting them both in touch with the folks at Surry Arts Council, and vice versa. Hope it can be pulled off.
