I'm not sure if this has already been posted or not, but I'm sad to report that Sid Melton passed away at the age of 94 on Nov. 2. He played on one TAGS episode as Pat Michaels in "Hollywood Party" (episode 168) who embellished Andy's bio when Andy was in Hollywood to see the filming of "Sheriff Without a Gun". Sid was more famous for playing carpenter Alf Monroe in "Green Acres", brother to sister Ralph Monroe (Mary Grace Canfield) who also dated Gomer as Mary Grace Gossage in "A Date for Gomer".
I met Sid briefly at his home while in California in June 2010. Sometime I'll have to tell you about that dog of his..... Mr. Schwump _______________________________________________ WBMUTBB mailing list [email protected] http://www.mayberry.com/tagsrwc/wbmutbb/
