We are all in agreement that no one could reprise the role of Barney Fife as
well as Don Knotts did.
Jack Burns had some big shoes to fill.The fit was never there.Who do you think
would have been
a better choice?
My nod goes to Tim Conway.He and Don worked together in several venues.He
definitely is a fun
meister.I think he could do it as good if not better than anyone else who has
comedy running
through their veins.
