Did anyone pursue this connection when we were trying to find out the name of the actress who plays "Nellie"? Since it is not a speaking part on the Newhart show either, I don't suppose it was ever listed in the credits. Ellen

Did anyone else see this and think it was "Nellie"?<<< Ellen, we have the first four seasons of "The Bob Newhart Show" on DVD, and I noticed when we were watching them that "Nice Dress Nellie" appears as an extra (background actor) in several different episodes. You might notice her in the elevator, or she might be walking down the hallway of Bob's office building, dressed as a worker in a medical office. It is definitely her, though she looks a few years older than she did on TAGS, which would be correct.
