Hi Gang!!! To another "Mike" here in Indiana, your rumor is just that, a rumor. Several years ago I interviewed Elinor Donahue and one of the questions I asked her was about her leaving the show. Basically it was because she had just come off of the Father Knows Best series and wanted to take a break. Allan ran my interview on his weekly podcast back in 2008 and I'm sure you can go there to the archives and hear the whole thing. I truly hate to see rumors spread such as Andy being hard to get along with. It's not fair to our main man.
