I think we all feel like we have lost a member of our family. I have loved Andy and the show since I was a child. I will always treasure the times I got to see him in person at the statue dedication and at the Andy Griffith Parkway dedication. I hope he knew how much happiness and joy he brought to our lives for so many years and for years to come. He was a legend, one of a kind. Rest in peace Andy. I have had the theme song as my cell phone ring for years and years, now when I hear it I feel so sad...but I expect I will get over that. In memory, I think everyone should take a moment to whistle the Andy Griffith theme song.
