Two Chairs No Waiting 204: Jobs in Mayberry
http://wp.me/plF1Q-Ri
There were several times jobs/labor were talked about in the town of
Mayberry. We’ll visit with Aunt Bee, Gomer, and Opie as they attempt
to find jobs in our home town.
Two Chairs No Waiting 205: Behind the Scenes of What's My Line?
http://wp.me/plF1Q-Rp
Back in episode 203 of Two Chairs No Waiting we had a look at several
appearances of Andy Griffith on the CBS game show, What's My Line? On
September 8, 2012 The Buffalo News published an opinion piece that
focused on what happened behind the scenes. (Thanks to WBMUTBB Chapter
member, Joe, for letting us know about this.)
That's right, a person that appeared on that same episode with Andy
wrote in to the paper with a wonderful story of meeting Andy and his
time on What's My Line? The fellow was a Pumpkin grower and was the
first contestant on the 31 October 1965 episode of What's My Line?
His name is William "Bill" Price and he was 16 years old in 1965. I
hope you'll enjoy his story.
There are a lot of things happening in Mayberry on the internet, like
the podcast and the iMayberry Community. I hope you guys will get
more involved and enjoy visiting with fellow Mayberry fans. After
all, community is what Mayberry is all about so I hope you'll join us
there as well as here on the Digest. More Mayberry is always better.
