Just me statiing how much I enjoy being a fan of Mayberry!! I read messages from my friends on a daily basis and don't have to worry about the negativity prevalent in today's TV 'mess.' How can you be negative about a father loving his son, a son loving his father, and everyone loving the lovable Deputy! Even the town "imbiber" is lovable when he is sober, and never destroyed anyone or anything when he was imbibing!! Every character made us smile, and some made us laugh. Where can you find that on ANY tv show today? Think I will go have an ice cream....make that a coke float!! Wish I could run down to Snappy Lunch for a po'k chop sammich again!! To those who haven't made the trip to Mt. Airy yet, make plans to go! You will never regret it and if you love the crowds, go to Autumn Leaves Festival. People are like autumn leaves.. covering the whole Main Street from end to end!! Mayberry is big enough for me. Did Andy or Barney or anyone ever mention the State Fair? I know Aunt Bee entered her pickles in the fair but it wasn't the State Fair....coming up real soon! Someone needs to put a Squad Car on display!! That would draw the crowds! Just sittin' here thinkin' so will take the bucket off now and stop....Y'all have a Mayberry Day!
