Sam commented that in Aunt Bee's Medicine Man while Andy and Barney are playing checkers, Andy takes two turns in a row. It is possible that this was scripted, since in the scene Andy is having a bit of fun with Barney by pointing out how gullible he can be (by suggesting that he looks ill - much like the way he once offered to sell his "rare" nickel.)
