I was in the military from 1962-1965...stationed for two years at 7th army headquarters communications center...our phonetic alphabet was : Alpha...Bravo...Charlie...Delta...Echo...Foxtrot...Golf...Hotel...India...Juliet...Kilo...Lima...mike...November...Oscar...Papa...Quebec...Romeo... Sierra...Tango...Uniform...Victor...Whiskey...X-ray...Yankee...Zulu.... Our numbers were : One, Two, Three, Four, Fiver, Six, Seven, Eight, Niner, and ten...if we went higher such as twelve or thirteen we would say "twelve, One-Two, Twelve"...or..."Thirteen, One-three, Thirteen"....and etc.....
