As I watched Alan Hale in the episode about a wife for Jeff Pruitt, I noticed he mentions that he has a farm and he "picked" tobacco on that farm. As a younger man I worked in Kentucky and was referred to farmers "picking" tobacco. I was quickly corrected by a long time Kentucky resident that a farmer "cuts tobacco, they do not pick it".
I was surprised the writer of that episode was not corrected on this term. I believe the product is harvested the same way in that it is cut and not picked. Just a comment Little Buddy.
