I can recall these times Andy being in full uniform - meaning he was wearing a tie and in one instance a cap. There may be others, but these are the only ones I can recall off hand.
He wore his tie and cap when Malcolm helped him get dressed one morning. He wore a tie when he went to the meeting in the episode where Barney had to gain weight and get taller. He wore a tie when Otis was presented the plaque for being "Mayberry's Most Distinguished Citizen". He wore a tie when the governor came for Founder's Day and Warren shot off the cannon. He wore a polka dot when the new inspector came.
