I worked with people who went to high school with Andy in Mount Airy. One guy was named Johnny Paul Beasley. A coincidence? He went by his middle name. Paul Beasley said that Andy always said, "Paul Beasley stole Angie Montgomery from me." Paul denied knowing Angie and didn't think he had the ability to steal any girl from anyone in high school.
