Looky here!! I been down in the woods a'tearin' up a beaver's dam! Them
varmints done chomped down some nice trees and jes chawed 'em all to pieces to
make that thing! When I found it I come back to the barn and got me my
chainsaw and some other stuff and sawed that dam to pieces. Next day I went
back and it done been fixed! What kinda creatures is these things what can
build a dam overnight??? More'n that, they can fix one what got a hold
sawed in the middle of it!! I think what I will do is pour some gasoline
down in the middle of it and stand back a ways, and toss a fire starter on the
pile and watch 'er burn!! Mebby have me some fried beaver for supper! I
know Ernest T would come get some of it as he loves a fried beaver sammich!
In the meantime, y'all better stay clear of the crick near middle ways of
the woods...you may get scorched!
