Ain't the snow purty!! But I done been snode in fer the past while and my
larders is gettin' kinda low. I need to saddle up the old mule and haul
off inta town and pick up some stuff to survive, like...well, lessee... I
gotta have a bag o' corn meal and some flare to make my corn bread....and some
milk for my korn flakers, and I absolutely gotta have a couple of them
hunnerd pound sacks of sugar. Makin' jelly!! Makin Jelly!! Don't get no ideas
about nothin' else! The spring water sure is nice and cold now and since it
keeps on a'runnin' it don't get frez over like still water do. Sure is
bettern' 'at stuff in town what's got all that clorox in it. That don't taste
good at all!!
Think I'll turn my antenna around tonight and catch me a episode of them
Duck folks a'makin duck calls and fussin with Uncle Si. 'At 'un makes me
laugh out loud sometimes.
Y'all stay warm and safe....and if you git a chancet, head down and looky
at my woods. They sure are purty with a thin coatin' of ice and snow on 'em!
