I have been asked to be a part of a Motorcycle/Classic Car Cruise on June 29. We will be raising money for our Trinity Equine Center which is an organization here in Eau Claire that provides free counseling services, through the use of horses, for our returning veterans. We will be gathering at the center for a pancake breakfast and then cruising for about 50 miles to a beautiful Veterans' Park where we will have a service and chicken dinner. We are all taking pledges to help raise funds for the veterans' counseling. I have been invited to another Equine Center event in September where they want me to bring the squad car and be in uniform and patrol the event handing out citations. Both should be a lot of fun as well as a great way to help many of returning vets. I thought about riding a horse dressed in black instead of taking the squad car because it uses so much gas, but I look so dog gone thin in bla
