Hey, Mayberry friends. While talking about the 'Football Story', this is something I shared a few years ago on the digest and I'd like to repeat it, if I can. We arrived at Mayberry Days on a Friday morning and I was in my best Mayberry/Andy Griffith, state of mind. We had already purchased tickets to some of the shows, and I proceeded to the hospitality tent to pick them up. I walked up and the nice lady asked "may I help you." I so much wanted to sound like Andy so I said, "Ma'am, I don't have a ticket and I don't know where it is that I'm a'goin'." She gave me a really strange look, it being obvious that she had no idea what I was talking about. Well, I was kinda' redfaced and I explained what I needed, so she gave me my tickets and we had a really great time at all the shows.
