Cathy, What about those wonderful "handyman" men who would try and get folks in Mayberry to let them do odd jobs or sharpen knives? We all remember Mr. Wheeler (Uncle Joe on Petticoat Junction). What about our door-to-door butter and egg men? How about that Orville Hendricks? And who could forget those wonderful men who delivered our milk every morning with Dolly the horse? Ahhh those were the days. But alas, I too am like you. I will not open the door to someone I don't know or at least I make my husband go see who is there. I'm safer that way!
