Hey, Mayberry friends. "Three Wishes for Opie" is one of my favorite episodes.
I have been fortunate to see the spooky backroom scene performed by our own
tribute artists, David Browning (Barn), Allan Newsome(Floyd) and Tim
Pettigrew(Goober). So funny! Count IstVanTalecky (is that spelled right?) was
right there in the room with them.
Floyd: "Of course I see him!"
My three wishes would be:
1. Hang out at the gas station with a bottle of pop.
2. Sit in the courthouse when Andy and Barney hum "When Sinners Lose All Their
Guilty Stains."
3. Attend the class reunion. "The Tears on my Pillow Bespeak the Pain in my
Heart."
I think Goober is the one that took the art class in bible school.
In NC, they say it's going to be 9 degrees tomorrow morning (Tuesday). I'm
headed to Mr. Foleys for bread and milk.
