As most of you know our friend Dan has been besmirching the name of Ken for quite some time now. After watching Clarence Earp challenge Andy to a duel to settle Andy's besmirching of the Earp name, I decided to challenge Dan to a duel and like Andy, I challenged Dan to fight me with a book. I told him we would each bring two of our favorite books and we would meet in front of the Eau Claire Library at high noon on January 5.
Well Dan showed up with his two books. I had chosen "War and Peace" and "The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire" as I thought they symbolized what I stand for. What did Dan bring? Well, he brought "Ten Easy Cupcake Recipes" and "Rebeca of Sunny Brook Farm".
