Everyone got the correct answer to the trivia question that I thought of, the
two men who Andy came right out and said he did not like. First there was
the moonshiner, Mr. Frisby. Aunt Bee said to Andy "You never did like Mr.
Frisby did you"? Andy replied "No, to tell the truth, I was never crazy about
him". Then in the Barbershop Quartet episode, Andy is in the courthouse
talking to the other two members of his quartet, and he said "What makes me mad
is that Sheriff (Blake) Wilson might beat us at the contest". "Maybe I
shouldn't say this, but I never did like him". It was obvious to any person
paying attention that Andy did not like Roger Hanover, but as far as I
remember, he never came right out and said he disliked him. Matter of fact,
since Roger was Aunt Bee's friend, he did everything he could do to disguise
his dislike for Roger.
On a completely different subject, concerning the spelling of Aunt Bee's name,
in Monday's crossword puzzle the clue was "Opie's caretaker". The only
letters that would correctly fit the spaces were A-u-n-t-B-e-e.
