Allan Melvin continued to make several appearances on Mayberry RFD. He made one appearance as the Mayberry barber when he talked Emmett into buying a toupee and he also was Clyde Plunk, Millie's former boyfriend in one episode. He bullied Howard and kept calling him Ace.
