Here's another trivia question for those who have time to stand around and discuss trivial trivialities. Jim Clark included this in Miss Crump's Quiz many years ago, but I am sure it will be new to many folks on this list.
Here's the challenge: Name a language that is known to have been used in or near Mayberry. There are at least ten correct answers. Note that codes, such as tapping out a message on the cell bars with a metal cup, or adding nonsense syllables to real words (as in pig Latin) are not languages.
