Good answers on the various languages heard in and around Mayberry. So far we've had Spanish, French, German, Italian, Russian, Latin, Shawnee, Chinese and "gypsy" language (I don't know the correct term for that one - Ken thought Romani, that's good enough for me.)
Pig Latin is not a language, it is more of a cipher applied to an existing language, so it doesn't count. Someone said Japanese (in the episode Barney's Uniform) but I don't know if any actual Japanese was spoken, and besides the judo center is in Mt. Pilot, not Mayberry. I'm thinking if three more languages that no one has named yet. Here's a hint: one is a language that Barney claims to understand, but apparently no other person in town does.
