It was a movie with Maureen O'hara and Robert Young. I think it was the first Mr. Belvedere movie made. She had a crush on Robert Young. She is also in Cheaper by the Dozen with the same actor (names escapes my addled brain) who played Mr. Belvedere in the aforementioned movie.
