Spotted George Lindsey on a MeTV episode of the Twilight Zone last night.
He essentially played Goober. He was a southern deputy sheriff. The
writers tried to make him appear stupid. They were fixing to hang someone if
the sun would ever come up. The show was a liberal diatribe against the
death penalty. If you ask me a lot more, rather than a lot less, people
should get a taste of the death penalty. Orville Hendricks - Mount Pilot Butter
and Egg Man. Around my farm, any hen that quits laying eggs gets the death
penalty pretty quick, and Martha gets a pot of chicken and dumplings.
