Here is the deal, you could not have Mayberry in the 21st Century. Too
much has changed, too many things are different. There is no room in
today's world for simple, honest people. That is why I am so grateful that I
was born right in the middle of the 20th Century. Would not trade my journey
for anything in this world. When I am feeling down, all I have to do I
travel back in my mind to the old homestead and all of my family, many of whom
are gone now.
But we will always have the Mayberry of the 1960's with us forever.
