forgot which episode this was, but the building accross the street from the Mayberry hotel had a sign painted in the window that read something like, "Hotel, Bar and Restaurant."
this struck me as odd for several reasons. first and foremost; a bar? I thought Mayberry was dry. secondly, hotel right across the street from Mayberry's only hotel? and thirdly, was th restaraunt.
