I just finished reading "Andy & Don". I found the book to be interesting, but at the same time somewhat disturbing. The author wrote of Andy and Don's struggles and successes. He also wrote about affairs, bouts with drinking, depression and fits of anger. In reading this book, I'm sure neither Andy or Don would have wanted some of that information known to the general public. I have a problem with authors such as this one who write of such things when the subjects are no longer around to defend themselves. It seemed evident that the author was not gearing his book to TAGS fans as evidenced by the subject matter and some of the terminology he used. In my opinion, this author was opportunistic and did not have the best interests of Andy, Don, their families and their fans at heart.
I would be interested in hearing others' opinions about this book.
