Hey WBMUTBB!

I don't do this too often but this is the beginning of another series
of interviews on the podcast that I really think you'll enjoy!

Two Chairs No Waiting has been so fortunate to have permission from
Neal Brower to share with you some of the interviews he has done as
part of “Professor Brower’s Class” at Mayberry Days. If you’ve missed
them, I would like to encourage you to go back and give them a listen
or watch the videos.

This episode of Two Chairs begins a series of interviews by Neal with
Bruce Bilson, assistant director of “The Andy Griffith Show” from
1960-63. Mr. Bilson has knowledge about TAGS and how it was made that
I’m betting you have never heard. Mr. Bilson was there at the
creation of the filming of opening credits and for those first several
years developing the “feel” of Mayberry.

It’s not too often that I recommend watching the video version of this
podcast but because of the clips shown in this episode as part of what
Mr. Bilson tell us, the video adds a lot to the experience.

SPECIAL NOTE OF THANKS: Neil & Pat Coleman from the “Remembering
Mayberry” chapter of TAGSRWC for providing the recording of Professor
Brower’s Class from Mayberry Days 2011.

Enjoy!
