We had a great time on Tuesday doing my Mayberry presentation to 70+ retired teachers in a town about 50 miles from here. During my program I kept hearing a couple of people making comments and various sounds and laughs whenever I showed slides and told stories about growing up in my hometown. After my program I discovered why. One of the teachers who taught at our small high school when I was in school was there. Also another girl who was from my hometown was there. Her dad was my math teacher in high school and I went through all 12 years of school with her sister. I had spent a lot of time at her house when I was a kid. We had such a nice visit. Such a small world. Thursday I am presenting at an assisted living complex here in Eau Claire and I will be displaying the squad car too. On June 14 I will be presenting at another assisted living complex and we will be displaying both our classic cars. Those residents are so appreciative when people come in and do programs.
