It was Wednesday night in Mayberry and Barney had night duty at the courthouse. Suddenly in walks Otis singing and staggering as he worked his way to his jail cell.
Barney: "Otis, what are you doing here? It is only Wednesday night". Otis: "My wife went to church tonight". Barney: "So, why did that make you get drunk"? Otis: "She said she was going to be born again". Barney: "So what's so bad about that"?
