Watching the "Twilight Zone" last night on MeTV, there was Jean (Daphne) Carson playing the wife of a crook in a pretty good episode called "A Most Unusual Camera" - a couple years before appearing on TAGS.
Then, while listening to an NPR segment about the role of sheriffs in America, the host mentioned Andy Griffith specifically at the beginning, then they played the TAGS theme at the end of the piece.
