I don't think so because on this trip I'll go days without a single ping then get a cluster. I teach web design/development classes twice a month and plug into the network there. Most of the time I don't get a single ping but on occasion I've had to turn the 'notify' feature of Zone Alarm off because I was getting so many pings it was interfering with class.
FWIW, I've gotten more pings on Earthlink than on Prodigy as the least on wt.net (regional ISP). Cheryl D. Only a theory, and I certainly have no proof to back it up. ____ The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
