Hi Gang

After a long hiatus I have come back. The past year or so has certainly
been one of ups and downs. Anyway on to more interesting stuff.

I am looking to find the most effective way to advertise my services. I
want to get the best bang for my buck. So far I have spent a total of
roughly $100 on business cards. I am into my second batch of 500 cards.
This method is effective if you are out networking all the time and meeting
new people and has kept me fairly busy.

Lately I have not been meeting the right people that need websites done or
that know of someone that needs a web site. Therefore I am looking for ways
to drum up business. I can advertise in a community newsletter that comes
out once a month, I don't know what the distribution numbers are or the
rates as of yet. There are lots of small businesses in the community but I
don't know how willing they are to spend money on websites. I can advertise
in the newspaper but that would be costly and I know you need to advertise
constantly for it to be effective. I am not sure how large the distribution
is but I live in a city of almost a million so I am assuming that an ad
would be expensive.

I would think that radio is not the greatest way either. There used to be a
firm that advertised on the radio station and they no longer do. Any
insight into this matter would be greatly appreciated.

TIA
