Benny, its been a long day for me so just a quick comment:
you have a lot of empty tags in the main frame, may be you should go through the FP output and clean it up after the pages are generated. the menu took an age to load, and looking at the source you have stuff in there which doesn't need to be there [ and probably shouldn't ] and it is also very very cluttered. the menu itself I found a bit confusing, couldn't work out which links were working or not: if I clicked on another link the frame didn't change? or got 'page could not be displayed, and I didn't like the way the 'pop up's' obscured the rest of the menu, which probably contributed to my confusion/ and or the difficulty. Didn't mind the colour scheme but it could be hard for some visitors, who is your intended audience? if it is a family sight remember the grandparents who might be visually challenged.
