Sherry, you know geeks can't resist using atypical tools. Moz is a browser.
There is windows version at ( http://www.mozilla.org). Moz is a developers
browser; it has a bunch of java related built-ins and a page composer. You
validate the code the same way as any code. But since Moz is highly
standards compliant, if it works in Moz and validates, it's good code. You
may have to mess it up to get to work in IE.

Now if you want the odd browser, go to linux and use Konquerer or Galeon.

The last Lynx I looked at had that oh so lovely green on black. Lynx renders
css in the order the css standards think css is written, which is sometimes
not at all what you think you did.

How does one validate for Mozilla? Do some of you wunderkinds have Mozilla
just
kicking around on your system? What do you use it for? What can one do with
Mozilla? In other words, why would you have it installed?

And lastly, what's the deal with Lynx? What does a page look like in Lynx?
Like
one of those nice, restful pages that are black-on-white serif font with
blue
hyper links? I like that look. Every page I've seen that looks like that
apologizes all over the place or suggests I upgrade my browser but I weary
of
the bells and jangle of the internet at time. I don't go to malls, either,
because of the overstimulation factor. I always like gopher menus, too,
although
I never quite got the hang of using them very well. It always seemed I was
on
some back page and couldn't quite find the beginning of the site. If one
calls
those gopher menu pages part of a site, in fact.

Thank you for your explanation, drew,
Sherry
