And yet would you believe you there are cheerful little instructions in the
Dreamweaver user guide telling you  "Values can be positive or negative".
In a pig's ear, Macromedia. That was one of the reason's my layer wasn't
showing up in Netscape 6 - it's original Z-index number I had as -1, as I
knew whatever I did with the order of everything else it would always be
the 'bottom' layer.

I switched to IE with great reluctance - I felt with NN6 they'd tried to
give it an IE feel,had moved all the controls & on my old iMac it used to
run much slower than IE.

I know I need to get a MAC, so I can
>see what damages and mistakes show up in their browser!
