Hi list,
I just sent an email to Franni re: Netscape Layers.
I am positive I read somewhere (darn, can't remember
where), that Netscape will not interpret z-index:-1
or other negative number, and will ignore that div
layer. I think I was using a negative number one
time, and when it didn't show up in my web page,
I did a search on z-index and found that information
on one of the result pages.

As long as I use positive numbers 1 - whatever, my
layers are not a problem and work in IE6.0, Opera6.05,
NN4.78 and NN7.0

Personally, I like Netscape much better than I.E., so
it's important to me to do it so it will work, and
usually if it works in NN, it will work in other
browsers too. I know I need to get a MAC, so I can
see what damages and mistakes show up in their browser!
