Hi Scott, So far, didn't work...but is probably an error in my path. This is similar to what I am using:
15 19 * * * curl -dump http://www.firstdomain.com/files/filename.phtml > http://www.seconddomain.com/home/rommys/seconddomain-www/files/file'date +"%m%d%y"'.txt I set permissions to allow writing to the "files" directory, but the file didn't show up. What am I doing wrong? steve > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Date: Tue, 10 Jun 2003 15:28:47 -0700 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [wdvltalk] Re: need unix command help > > > Here's one idea to try: > > 00 06 * * * curl -dump http://www.server.com/file.phtml > > /your/path/test`date +"%m%d%y"`.txt > > Let me know if this works.
