Yea, most of our stuff is quite "plain" but we've written intensive
intranet type business applications using ms technologies (some other
departments used java plugins) and it will influence those quite badly. :/

more money for developers though :) bad for business :(

The article also mentions what can be found on a very short Google that
embedding and OLE was around long before the Eolas patent. It does sound
like it applies to any plug-in etc. so I'm probably wrong about it only
affecting IE. I've subscribed to the [EMAIL PROTECTED] list,
should be an interesting discussion! The W3C article states that
Macromedia is very interested in this so Flash plug-ins must be affected
too. Oh well, glad I write xhtml valid pages and use javascript and
php/MySQL instead of relying on MM and M$.
