Oh, wise ones! I have (admittedly the free version of) Norton AV. Each time I have tried to get the live update (in the past two days) I am first asked if I wish to buy a year's update from 50 days hence; my reply is in the negative.
Then I am connected to the Norton website, but almost immediately a window pops up to say my PC has been disconnected from the internet. It has not, of course. Is this Symantec's latest ruse to force payment? Is there another reason for this? Am I about to try AVG?
