Normally I wouldn't try and answer this one but it's just possible responses
will be a little thin on the ground.... so, just so you get *some*
response...

First, usual bad news disclaimer, you have no *certain* way to control how
any page will print out on someone else's printer as you have no way to know
or control what printer they are using, how they have it set up, what
browser they are using and how it represents a page when printing it, or
even how they have set up their preferences - I use "Page Setup" in my
browser to print to A4 Landscape and so for me, your page will fit fine....

Slightly better news: with CSS you should be able to make your page print
differently from how it displays, but not in every browser, still try this
Evolt article:

5/&e=912

As that page says, what most people do is just have a button for "Printer
friendly page" and have an alternate page where the layout flows nicely for
printing. I would trust that more than CSS but that's just me :o)

Oh and - holiday? there's a holiday? (Kidding - I am full of turkey and
chocolates, what could be better!)
